HOOOOLY crap I LOLed hard! This is harsh, but true. And damned awesome :D
Since I’ve been doing a lot of shows since July there hasn’t been much time to do art. So instead have a few random pictures from my travels this Summer and Fall!
Hello to all my new Tumblr followers! Not sure why I got a flood of you so recently, but welcome! I try to update here once in awhile, so please bear with me and my infrequent posting. Still unsure how this Tumblr thing is really supposed to work LOL.
Actually, tis done with the magic of Photoshop and the clone tool :) Once I scan my images I usually clean them up in Photoshop and make them look as close to the original as I can. In the case of potentially offensive bits I just clone them out. It can be a bit tricky sometimes, but it is completely doable. The original is never altered for censorship. If I added a bit there, I did that for the commissioner. But I rarely do pieces with naughty in there, because that isn’t my thing, so having to censor is rare for me. Hope that helps!
Some recents artings, all are commissions done in watercolor and colored pencil on 9” X 12” smooth Bristol paper.
A couple of concept sketches for this year’s Werewolf Calendar piece that I rejected. Thought I’d share c:.
Gotta love the drawing skills!! Just lovely. Would hope to see these in color someday, but I know how it goes. They’re still gorgeous!
